Good News!
The good news is that all of the Governator's propositions - and prop 73 (not his) - were defeated in California yesterday. Additionally, Virginia and New Jersey elected Democrats for governors. I think the pendulum has been pushed so far to the right that it has no where else to go and is finally, FINALLY swinging back. It's an old pattern, and if history teaches us anything, it's that we as a society never learn moderation. The bad news is that Ahhnald spent $200 million dollars, that's $200 million dollars, of taxpayers' money on his special election. If that's not grounds for recall for irresponsible spending, I don't know what is.(Originally written November 9)
