The Other Side of the Mirror
About Me
- Name: LA
- Location: Southern California
I often find myself going through life, shaking my head in disbelief at what I see. And then sometimes I am awed by something so stunningly beautiful that I'm breathless. I hope to document both here.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear of one another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular. - Edward R. Murrow

Hot. I still want to find somebody to go see it with me. I can't believe my friends are so homophobic.
Your friends won't see it, seriously? That's totally amazing to me!
Yeah I know I blame it on Texas and it being a Republican state and all. Sometimes I really hate living here.
I've been to Dallas a few times and really liked it. But on one of those trips, we went into Fort Worth, and I realized that Dallas was probably the exception, not the rule.
Yeah seriously homosexuality is still a big taboo here and I live in the city not the suburbs.
Wow... LA is so open that I often forget other places aren't.
