The Crown Jewel of Long Beach

Forget the Queen Mary, lovely as she is. For my money, the crown jewel of Long Beach is the Villa Riviera. Gawd, I wish I could afford more than a studio in this building. Click to enlarge the photo so you can enjoy the gargoyles.

I bet one could write a sitcom based simply on living in that building. Can you rent, or do you have to buy?

PK - Long Beach is an insider's secret.

Flix - The units are owned, but some are available for rent by the owners. If you are curious about prices, click the link in the post, and you'll be able to tour some units both for sale and for rent.

Beautiful. Would fit right into Victoria. What year was it built?

Ffleur - 1928-1929. Then, she survived the Long Beach earthquake in the early 30s. She is magnificent.

I've seen this. I wonder if they used this building for that old 70s flick "Gargoyles". Am I the only one old enough to remember that? Wait a minute. I may be younger than a few of you. Okay, maybe not.
