The Other Side of the Mirror
About Me
- Name: LA
- Location: Southern California
I often find myself going through life, shaking my head in disbelief at what I see. And then sometimes I am awed by something so stunningly beautiful that I'm breathless. I hope to document both here.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear of one another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular. - Edward R. Beautiful! If I could afford it I would b=move in there in a heartbeat.
what a great building
holy crap! that's in long beach? i would live anywhere that had gargoyles guarding it from outside.
I bet one could write a sitcom based simply on living in that building. Can you rent, or do you have to buy?
PK - Long Beach is an insider's secret.
Flix - The units are owned, but some are available for rent by the owners. If you are curious about prices, click the link in the post, and you'll be able to tour some units both for sale and for rent.
Looks swanky!
Beautiful. Would fit right into Victoria. What year was it built?
Ffleur - 1928-1929. Then, she survived the Long Beach earthquake in the early 30s. She is magnificent.
I've seen this. I wonder if they used this building for that old 70s flick "Gargoyles". Am I the only one old enough to remember that? Wait a minute. I may be younger than a few of you. Okay, maybe not.
