Me Singing
You can see the rest here, but here's some of the tomfoolery that goes on at these gigs (see previous post). Taken with a cheap throwaway camera three years ago on my 40th birthday. God, my hair started out so cool that night, but my hair is very curly and as the night wore on and the heat and moisture built up in that club, you can see my bangs curling up. I use better products now to keep that shit from happening. ARRGGHH!

OMG LA, you are so pretty!......That last pic of you in the group of photos of the band, your eyes look super blue, just like your avatar! Too cool! :)
I was rocking my Elizabeth Taylor violet contacts that night. I'm a brown-eyed brunette whose motto is "better living through chemistry." ;)
Rock on! :)
LA you are not a natural blonde? You could have fooled me.
P.S. I feel your pain. I have wavy hair that frizzes up with the slightest hint of moisture in the air. If that is one of your worst hair days consider yourself very Lucky.
Pix - I pay my hairdresser a LOT of money to keep me blonde!
Also, Southern California is essentially a desert, so it's pretty dry here.
My hair has relaxed a lot over the years, but when I was in Chicago this summer, I got the frizzies all over again. Aren't you in Texas? I've been to Dallas, and I know what my hair does there!
LA let me just say that this Texas weather is not very kind to my fragile hair. I usually just keep it up in a ponytail half the time.
Who would you say you sound like, LA, Singing I mean?
Looks like fun!!
I know this is off subject LA, I noticed you added my blog to your 'links'(Thank You!!) and I totally want to do the same, but I am not sure how to do it? How did you do it??
You are so neat-o!
Damn, sooo Los Angeles.
Hot bod: check
Blond locks : check
Sexy sound: check?
La, I do love it..if I sang, they would close down the joint.
I want info..where were you? What did you sing?
Loooooooooooooves it!
oh and I want to add all of you cuties to my dumb blog...how do we do it?
Hot bod - UNcheck. 'Fraid not.
Joy - That's a hard question for me to say who I sound like because I tend to imitate whichever artist does the song I'm singing. Speaking voice-wise, I sound like Stevie Nicks. I'm a contralto, I have a similar timbre, etc. But I can imitate Gwen (including her stylized way of singing) Chrissie Hynde, Debbie Harry and, to a degree, Pat Benetar, but I don't have the power or range of Pat (not many people do). Thanks for the interest, guys!! I love to sing, but I don't get the opportunity very often.
Since it looks like a lot of people want to add links, I'll post the instructions a little later. I'm working right now, and need to get some things done before I can write it out.
LA, I would throw my panties at you.. but they would just hit the moniotor. That looks like it was a lot of fun!! I'll bet you have groupies now!! Men sitting outside your door crying because you don't love them? Such a bitch :)
And thank you for adding me to your links, also. I don't have a links option, I figured it didn't come with the layout I picked. I found the HTML you could add, but it blew away the entire format so I gave up. But I do like the sidebar.. I'll check back to see if I can understand the instructions :)
