If you look up Goof in the dictionary, this picture is right there next to the definition. I also believe that the same holds true for Zany.
Wasn't he goofing on everybody at the Oscars? A sense of humor is good.
i sure did like him in brokeback. everyone was giving kudos to heath, but i thought jake was the one to watch. but he was totally goofy in bubble boy.
why isn't he dating anyone yet?????

I feel he pretty much carried it, actually.
It was also about 20 minutes too long.
oh i agree, mike, heath was awesome. but jake sorta got lost in the hype, and i found his performance less predictable and sorta mesmerizing.

SPOILER ALERT:
Mike - Jack was killed as shown visually, the victim of a hate crime. Lureen knew exactly what happened to him, but chose to tell Ennis the "accidental" version. The visual wasn't Ennis' imagination, it was showing the audience what really happened as Lureen sanitized the story.

LA, thank you for clearing that up. what i think happened was lureen found out jack was toothy tile and her daddy had him done in. but she definitely knew the real truth and was sticking to the sanitized version to save face. was i overthinking it too much?
either way, i cried my eyeballs swollen on that final scene with heath and those shirts. my god, i am getting all verklempt just thinking about it! damn you, toothy!!!
I figured as much, but the way it was presented, I was wondering.
Plus, it was late at night when we were finishing off the movie, so there is that..
