Crazy

Here's a listing for a house a few blocks from me. Check out the price. The ONLY reason it's that much is because of the beach-front location. Personally, I don't think they'll ever get that much. The house itself is a tear-down or in serious need of a remodel at the very least.

This is my favorite part of the listing:

Estimated Monthly Payments: $55,064
*based on 30year fixed APR loan with 20% down and no points

When my heel settles down, I'll swing by and take a picture of it over the wall so you can see the house, although it's nothing special. (These two were taken from the car.) This is all that shows from the street. The two-story in the second picture is the next-door neighbor and not part of the property for sale.

damn, you can get ocean front in San Diego for less than that!!!
And not a tear down, either.

Sweet jumping Jesus, Seriously? And people make that much money? Dear God, I can barely afford $950 split in half a month.

And your word verifications are longer than War and Peace

My word verification for this one is ioyzgpv. Wish I could control the length, but I can't (story of my life - haha!).

Holy crap! And I thought the Real Estate prices up here are bad. Thats pure insanity. And it looks like a shack! Not worth dropping the dough on, IMO.

Hey, maybe her word verification is a show-er instead of a grower.

Anyway, HOLY CRAP IS RIGHT! I live in LA and even I am shocked at the price. What do you suppose they're asking for in Malibu?

There's a beachfront house for sale in Corona del Mar for $75 million. Yes, that's right, $75 million!

diane - I have no idea why the price tag is so high for this property, but it might be because it's a HUGE lot. I'm your neighbor in Seal.

Diane - The house is at Ocean and 4th. It's a zero of a house, but the lot is awesome.
