The Other Side of the Mirror
About Me
- Name: LA
- Location: Southern California
I often find myself going through life, shaking my head in disbelief at what I see. And then sometimes I am awed by something so stunningly beautiful that I'm breathless. I hope to document both here.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear of one another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular. - Edward R. Nice! Can't beat this weather.
Yeah, the photo makes me feel sunny!
All I see is a blank picture with a red x at top of left corner.
"Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game."
who are they playing? if it's the giants, then GO GIANTS!!
That was Philly. LA won, 8 to 2.
Mike thinks it's the 7th inning stretch!
I'm a sucker for that American Tradition that is baseball.
I don't go to games as much as I used to, but from the singing of the National Anthem to standing for the last out in the 9th, it's positively perfectly American and I love it.
