The Other Side of the Mirror
About Me
- Name: LA
- Location: Southern California
I often find myself going through life, shaking my head in disbelief at what I see. And then sometimes I am awed by something so stunningly beautiful that I'm breathless. I hope to document both here.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear of one another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular. - Edward R. He looks perplexed.
My dog loves to go to restaurants, too. He's a magnet for attention.
Golden Retrievers are my favourite breed. They just look so smart and worldly. This guy knows he's hot stuff.
He's gorgeous!
what a cutie. I'd be one of the people offering him a scratch behind the ear.
That's one sharp looking goldie. But I'm a little confused, did his owner leave him out there while he went inside for a meal? Is this normal? Or is it much more likely the owner went in to quickly pick something up?
V - Yes, the owner was probably sitting just inside the window while the dog waited patiently. It's nothing I would ever do, but yeah, fairly common at that restaurant/bar.
