The Other Side of the Mirror
About Me
- Name: LA
- Location: Southern California
I often find myself going through life, shaking my head in disbelief at what I see. And then sometimes I am awed by something so stunningly beautiful that I'm breathless. I hope to document both here.

We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear of one another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men not from men who feared to write, to speak, to associate and to defend causes that were, for the moment, unpopular. - Edward R. I would love to see some of your knitting art. Your trip sounds really fun to me actualy. I hope you have fun and come back with some cool ideas. Be safe and have a very happy birthday!
Thanks, Joy! I'll post pix when I get back. Are you a knitter/crocheter?
Sure, you can always ask me knitting questions. I can't crochet to save my life.
Wow LA, that your yarn collection looks soooooo fun, I want to touch it all! I love that tactile sensation, and I promise, my hands are clean! :)
My grandmother taught me to knit when I was young, but I haven't picked it up in years! However, I do like to do needlepoint, and I have been working occasionally on a fairly good size Mona Lisa the past two years, she is about 3/4 the way done. I should post a pic of it one day on my blog. Well, have a safe and fun trip, and a most HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! :)
That's a good stockpile. It won't stand a chance once you get back with new ideas!

No but I've always admired people that have the patience to sit down and create something beautiful with knitting needles.
Jane - Can't wait to see Mona Lisa!
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone... I'm outta here in a few hours. I miss Dlisted already!
