Welcome to the Dollhouse

I went drive-by shooting with a friend today. Of course, when I say "shooting," I'm using a camera, not a gun. We happened upon this little "Hansel and Gretel" house that I thought was pretty sweet. Next time, I need to park and spend a few minutes setting up. That way, I may actually manage to get a shot without a street light in the way. But it's still worth clicking to see the details of this unexpected little delight.

In the meantime, I'm listening to Stevie Nicks, the weather is good enough to have the windows open, and all is right in the world.

I want that home! So much character and uniqueness!
That unusual roof is very reminiscient of Spanish Architect Antonio Gaudy (Active in the art nouveau movement).....fab!

I'm going to do some research on this place. It's a treasure.

LA, I enjoy your real estate stories. Homeownership is a bitch but still a good goal.

You seem to be in a real tough market.

Do you own a home? I'm totally obsessed with it right now, and it seems so bleak. It doesn't stop me from looking and dreaming...

Please do, Mike! I'd love to see it! Do you live in Kensington, by chance? I remember when I went to SDSU, I loved that neighborhood because of it's unique architecture and it's sort of ethereal, timeless quality.

Anyway, I'll keep checking your blog for a pic!

I live near there, in the neighborhood near SDSU called El Cerrito.

Kensington Coffee is my favorite coffee place.

Trust me, Chiligurl, I only post the interesting ones. There is plenty of tract housing here, too! You'll just never see it on this blog unless I totally sell out.
