Milk It
You know how amazon.com started out as an online venue to buy books and music? You know how amazon.com evolved to become a place where you could buy just about anything? Well in case you haven't heard, amazon.com offers groceries. Cool, I'm down with that. But the best part is that people have been writing reviews of the groceries which is turning into a cultural phenomenon on par with Peeps. Behold the milk reviews. Not only are they fucking funny, but there are 768 of them. And while you're at it, don't miss the reviews for grapes.

Remember Homegrocer.com? It was awesome - so of course it got bought out and discontinued . . .
I love this post LA!!! It's the funniest shit I've read all week.
too funny LA. I mean, what can you say about milk? Tt just...is. But these reviewers found a fresh perspective and for that, I thank them.
FUNNY shit LA. LOVE it!
The last time I was in LA, my friends needed milk, so we went to a drive-thru deli. We never had to leave the car.
I just prefer to buy the stuff myself.
Flix - How bizarre. I've lived here 30 years in four separate counties, and I cannot say I've ever seen a drive-thru deli-mart-type place.
la - there is still one on Newland and Warner in Fountain Valley, and what is now the furniture store on PCH next to Harpoon Harry's in Sunset, was one 10 years ago!
aren't those funny?
must be making it around the internets all week.
I love this poem from the iceburg lettuce reviews:
Iceberg Lettuce, the queen of the salad,
Hardly any taste and its looks rather palid,
Can't use it as a wrap or as an ice scraper,
It's way to fragile to use as toilet paper.
Can't use lettuce to roll up a fatty-
But lettuce really rules on a hamburger patty,
The Mexicans pick it, which shouldn't be a shocker-
I understand they also use lettuce to play soccer
Diane - OMG, I have never noticed either of those places (recognizing one's been gone awhile now).
Mike - That's some good shit!
pretty funny. as a lactose intolerant person, this was almost like reading porn. haha
la - the one on newland is near where i grew up - until my mom moved, we'd been getting grocery basics there for nearly 40 years
Aren't these reviews addicting! I just love Amazon.
BTW - now every time I log on to Amazon, it shows me other groceries I might be interested in. . . .
OMG I freakin love this!
diane - I feel your pain. My amazon history says my last three items were an album by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer; earthbound farm mini peeled carrots; and farm fresh russet potatoes. I feel like a freak!
This is too funny! I'm addicted to the tomato reviews.
Oh man!!! Thanks for pointing this out...I'm sure I will spend an endless amount of time checking out these reviews!
