On Vacation
I snapped this picture inside a "party store" when I was in the Midwest last year. (For the record, we call them "liquor stores" in California.) I leave bright and early tomorrow morning, back next week.Tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy was a lot of fun and comes on the heels of actor T.R. Knight (George O'Malley) coming out of the closet earlier today. For more on the story, read this and that. I was saddened to see the Ted Casablanca story because that kind of seals the deal on Isaiah Washington. All I know is despite the drama behind the scenes, I'm totally digging the drama on air.
Time to get to bed, I've got an early call in the morning.

Have a good trip, LA!
Ok, this G.A. Drama is insanity. Desperate Housewives suffered because of the off-set drama and that was just over cast members being bitchy to each other. I can not have my Grey's suffer over this! Now, I'm so over Isaiah and I love TR for handling this in such a classy way.
Team O'Malley!
LA, I hope you enjoy a much deserved rest and respite away from the hustle and bustle. I can honestly say that I'm jealous, but in a good way.
I heard about the drama and I was disgusted by Isaiah's behavior. Imagine if the tables were turned and someone uttered something derogatory about him. I think Al Sharpton would be on the case. Besides that, he assaulted someone. I'm sensing that Washington was a little envious about where the storyline was heading and someone has gotten a little too big for the britches over the poularity of the show!
All this and I don't even watch it!
I am from Cali too but currently live in Georgia and they call liquor stores "package stores" here. WTF - I got a package... hmmm it's a secret.
LA, hopefully you get to read this on your vacation and you're having a good time!!
They're called package stores in MA., which I have always assumed to mean they put your brew in a bag or box.
I knew there was more to the whole Grey's Anatomy story. If I was the producer, I would sit the entire cast down for some group love.
People get bent out of shape, I'm still not sure what they're called here in the east coast, [spirit shops]? I'll be damned if I call it that. Where's my horse and buggy.
la, hope you enjoy yourself. take a break from the 'net and head to the party store. that's what i'd do!
Our liquor stores are called the L.C.B.O. Liquor Control Board of Ontario. No liquor is allowed to be sold in grocery or convenience stores up here. They have their own special stores regulated by the govt.
When I went to Florida I was very confused as to why I could buy wine at a Piggly-Wiggly.
Drink up LA!
I need a drink to chase my downer!
