Sweet Crib in the Hood

Check it out. Jack White's house in Detroit is for sale. Okay, it's in Grosse Pointe Park, not exactly 8 Mile, but it's still all Detroit, baby. The website provides many photos of all the details, plus the history of the home. The only thing missing is the list price.

UPDATE: Mishy found the price! (Good eye, Mishy.) It's a steal at $930,000. Price is all relative. In Southern California, you couldn't touch a house like that for under $4-5 million. I need to move.

The price is listed on the Contact section. For a meager price of $930,000.00 this house could be yours. OUCH!

Good eye, Mishy. I missed that. I actually think that's a good price, but then I live in Southern California where 930K will get you a 2 bedroom, 1 bath teardown at the beach.

That actually isn't a terrible price.

Where I live, that would get you a far bigger house and a far bigger lot (acres and acres). But then again, the three rules of real estate are Location, Location, Location!

Yeah, I think Grosse Point is a high society neighborhood. For a million dollars here, you could get a horse farm with many acres of land.

It still is a very pretty house. I really dig poured driveways.

what a sweet pad. i could see me and jack living there together in blissful matrimony. of course, he'll have to ditch the wife and kid. you're right though, $930,000 will buy you a fixer upper here in the city of angels.

It's cute, don't like the guy though he's full of himself.

I like his sis though.

Yep, it's a beautiful house but there's no way I'd want to live in Detroit.
