Have you ever noticed that it's more fun to hear a song you love when it's randomly played on the radio than it is when it's played at home from the CD you already actually own and can play virtually anytime you want? Why is that?

LA tell me I about it. I even like listining to songs that I hate on the radio. WHY?
Isn't it annoying? I totally don't understand it!
I guess that's why people call in requests, too.
Even for records that they probably own already.
I'll sit and watch a movie on HBO that I own on DVD as well.
Go figure!
